I’m hosting a contest. Starting Today April 11th running through April 20th.

You can win yourself an unofficial (of course) sock wars weapon bag. I made a few of these last year for sock wars and this year I’d like to give away another one this year. here’s the description of the two

This bag is the perfect size for your smaller on-the-go WIP’s. It’s especially nice for knitting or crocheting socks, scarves or hats. Small enough to take anywhere and inside there are 2 pockets so you won’t loose the things you’ll need.(i.e. needles, hooks, scissors, even a pattern) It’s small enough to fit inside your bigger project bags to hold your yarn so it won’t roll around while you’re knitting it.

Bag #1

The outside  fabric is a brightly colored swirl pattern 100% cotton.
The inside fabric is 100% cotton a green bubble fabric

The pocket fabric is a blue ice crystal wave pattern 100% cotton
there is a metal eyelet opening with an intertwined pink nylon cord and plastic push button stopper to hold it closed.
10 inches high with a 3 ¾  inches squared bottom..

 Bag #2

The outside  fabric is a brightly colored striped pattern 100% cotton.
The inside fabric is 100% cotton blue flowered fabric.

The pocket fabric is a green bubble pattern 100% cotton
there is a metal eyelet opening with an intertwined pink nylon cord and plastic push button stopper to hold it closed.
8 inches high with a 3 ¾  inches by 4 inches bottom.
For both bags machine wash delicate cycle in cold water. lay flat to dry
There’s multiple ways to get yourself entered to win. each one gets one entry.

And that’s it so you can have your name entered 5 times in this drawing. on April 20th i’ll put everyone’s name in a bag and let one of my daughters pull out a name to see who’s won.

    GLEE!! I have a friend who’s participating, and I think she’d LOVE the second bag. I love your Asian Umbrella WIP bag, and just added it to my etsy faves, because it’s that awesome (and I’m going to be buying my self a WIP bag or two after MDSW….)

    Oh, those are so cute! I like bag #2 myself. Since I’m already signed up for Sock Wars IV (nom de guerre is Iron Maiden), do I get an extra entry in the drawing, or am I out of luck because I signed up too soon? No matter, it’s all good.

    What great bags and what a great idea! I like the fabric on Bag #1 best, but would love to have any thing that says Sock Wars on it

    I like bag number 2 the best.

    My favorite thing from your etsy shop is the green and gold knitting bling. Those are gorgeous!

    I don’t have a blog to link your shop on or I totally would. The Sock Wars bags are so clever. If I were a better knitter I’d join up. Maybe next year once I have a few more pairs of socks under my belt.

    What a great idea! Sock Wars project bags! I love them both, but if really pushed to choose, I’d have to choose the first one; the colours are fantastic! Where did you get the “Sock Wars” patches on them? I’d like to get some of those to use on my current knitting bags!

    1. I love both of the bags that you made, if I had to choose one I guess it would have to be bag No. 1.

    2. I am also signed up on Sockwars as SoxManic and I am on one of the teams, just can’t pronounce the long name with it’s picture the only one with a picture so far.

    3. I went to your Esty site and love all the bags that you have made, and also love your stitchmarkers. You have a lot of nice sock patterns also. I will be shopping over there in the future now that I know you have an Esty site.

    I hope I have done this right, as I am not good on the computer at all.

    I am hoping to win bag #2, love the flowers, stripes and colors. GREAT IDEA! I did visit your store would love to see this bag for sale with the same colors.     Soooo, I LOVE bag #2! I love your stitch markers in your Etsy store! I wrote about it on my blog, but it won’t be live until the 16th. I’m not doing sock wars, sorry, but I’m still working on a pair of socks from August 2008! Maybe one day…when the kids are grown, LOL! Miss you!

    So I checked out your etsy store. I love the Blue Hawaiian Flower bag and the Asian Bead stitch markers. The blue bling stitch markers are nice, too!
