Blooming
Finally my sunflowers have bloomed. They’re super tall, I’d say about 8 ft or so. Next year I plan on planting some all the way up and down the fence. My neighbor came out and was joking with me. She thanked me for planting the flowers for her (they face her house) and she also offered to let me over when I wanted to see them. LOL I snapped an up close, well sort of. It’s as close as I could get being that they’re over my head. You can kinda see the bee with the pollen on it’s leg. (look closely)
Today it’s raining so i’m relieved of watering duty for the time being. I’m still on a reading kick. Lately i’ve been reading a few of the Amelia Peabody mysteries by Elizabeth Peters. They are about and archaeology and very interesting. I have to go the library tomorrow to pick up a few more of the books since I’m done with the ones i’m reading. How about you? reading anything good?
